APITS Competition Terms & Conditions
Every day of the A Place in the Sun Exhibition, from 11th March until 13th March 2011, visitors to The Foremost Currency Group’s stand within the exhibition can enter this competition for the chance to win £500.
1. It is free to enter this promotion. By entering this promotion, you are deemed to have read and understood these rules and agree to be bound by them.
2. This promotion is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Foremost Currency Group Limited, their immediate families, their Agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion. Proof of identity and age may be requested. Failure to provide proof of identity may result in disqualification in this competition.
3. To Enter: There are four steps: i) Estimate the value of Euros and US dollars as seen or perceived, as the notes include plain paper (for security reasons) on display in the competition display case, ii) forecast the euro to sterling and dollar to sterling exchange mid-market rate at midday on Monday 14th March 2011 (as provided by the Foremost Currency Group and shown on www.foremostcurrencygroup.co.uk ) iii) Calculate the total sterling value of the currency notes on display by combining the estimated currency value and the forecasted currency exchange rates iv) Complete an Entry Form with your name, address, telephone, email address, and entry value for the competition and place your Entry Form in the entry box on the Foremost Currency Group stand.
4. Promotion runs during the APITS show on Friday 11th March 2011, Saturday 12th March and Sunday 13th March. The competition will close when the exhibition closes on Sunday 13th March. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
5. Each validly submitted Entry Form equals one entry into the competition and there is only one entry allowed per person.
6. Winner Selection: The person who specifies the nearest sterling value to the correct sterling value (calculated by combining the number of notes in the display case with the actual exchange mid-market rate at midday on Monday 14th March 2011), (as provided by the Foremost Currency Group and shown on www.foremostcurrencygroup.co.uk ) will win £500.
7. The Prize: A £500 cheque will be paid to the winner. The winner will be notified by email or phone by 5pm on Monday 14th March 2011 at the latest using the details submitted at time of entry. If the winner does not respond to such notification within 5 working days, he or she will be disqualified and in this case the prize will be re-allocated to the next closest sterling value.
8. In the case of a draw the prize will be divided equaly between all winning entries.
9. Please allow 28 days for delivery of prize. The prize is non-transferable.
10. Limitations of Liability. Neither the Promoter Foremost Currency Group Limited nor any other parties involved in the promotion assume any responsibility or liability for:
• Any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
• Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion.
• Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination hereof.
• Any lost entries
11. If a winner is found to have acted fraudulently or contravened these terms and conditions the prize will be re-allocated.
12. Acceptance of the prize constitutes consent to use the winner’s name and their entry for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes.
13. This Promotion will be governed by laws of England and the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
14. The Promoters decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
