The Kiwi dollar was relatively flat against its counterparts last night after a week of weakening.

GBP/NZD has risen from 1.78 to 1.8250 this week after Theresa May called for a snap General Election.

This comes in spite of better than anticipated inflation readings from New Zealand which now sit at 2.2% year on year. The next Kiwi announcements come on Tuesday- after ANZAC Day we will have the Visitor Arrivals figures.

EUR/NZD Currently sits at 1.5290.
