Thank you to all New Zealand Business Women’s Network members who entered into our Kiwiana Photo Competition and voted in the public vote.
In September, Foremost Currency Group and New Zealand Business Women’s Network (NZBWN) teamed together to launch our Kiwiana Rugby World Cup Photo Competition. This gave the NZBWN’s members the chance to show off their Rugby World Cup and Kiwi spirit. The entries were then put in to a prize draw and drawn out at the NZBWN’s ‘An evening with Diane Foreman’ event to win various prizes from pineapple lumps from SANZA to ‘The Modern Preserver’ recipe book from Kylee Newton.
The top 5 photos then went through to a public vote. The winner of this category will win a canvas print of ‘The Great Boat Race Passing The City, 2006’ from leading UK photographer Niki Gorick. The winning photo is shown below.

Congratulations to the winner for such an iconic shot. When we launched this competition we didn’t expect so many photos to capture the spirit of the Rugby World Cup so well! We are excited to continue our relationship with New Zealand Business Women’s Network and I would like to thank them for all of their help with running this competition.”

“It has been great fun looking at all the different entries and I found it hard to pick a winner myself, so I’m glad that I didn’t have to but I love this stylish piece of Kiwiana. It cleverly captured a London icon, which only the sharp-eyed would see. This unlikely Thames-side fusion of New Zealand and London creates a memorable photograph.”
